Blade Runner Spinner 3D Model Walkaround in Unreal

A short video of an Unreal walkthrough of the Spinner vehicle.  I guess I'm pretty much finished, though I'd like to be able to fly in it too.

Blade Runner Spinner Vehicle 3D model in progress

.
...started working on a Blade Runner Spinner vehicle to add to my gas station environment.  I still have to work on the interior.  I'm hoping to make this quite elaborate, as I think I'd like to be able to fly in it in Unreal.

VR gas station Unreal Engine Environment in progress

Finally got around to making a video of my gas station Unreal engine environment.  I still have a lot of work on it as I'll be building the interior too.  I'm also going to add quite a few vehicles to it eventually.

Unreal Snowy Landscape

Finally got around to adding the tiling ground texture to a snow landscape.  I'd like to eventually add some rocks and maybe some other vegetation and trees.

Minsky, Emotiv, Brainwriter

Minsky mentioned the Emotiv presentation in his lecture, and I was really curious to see it and the possibilities of drawing with only your mind.  Apparently though there's not a lot of control through an EEG.   However, the Brainwriter device(  http://danielrgoodwin.com/open-source-eeg/ ), which is using KYND, has managed to allow for some pretty amazing results with such limited controls.

Congressional hearing on AI

Well, at least there's some sort of policy awareness going on.

What happens when Google tries to reverse image detect

Some interesting side experiments with Google image by Blaise Ag├╝era y Arcas.  I thought it particularly interesting when Google isn't quite sure how to draw an upward tilt to the head.  Was it partly due to people not tilting their heads in pictures or because the view is more ambiguous as a shape?

Minsky lectures

These MIT lectures with Marvin Minsky are great.  I think part of me just enjoys listening to him speak like a grandfatherly figure though.  Tell the story about Einstein again!

3d Horse Anatomy Models

These were made primarily out of my own curiosity of horse structure put into more animated gestures.  Given the time, I might go ahead and texture them for some nicer renders.

What to do with ground turkey

I'm not sure which one of these Jell-o mold recipes would be best for the ground turkey I have.  The mold idea might work well for Thanksgiving.

Ocko bun!

I had to make this pic of my bun, Ocko.  I'm always imagining this is what she's thinking when she gets broccoli with her fresh greens.

3d horse skeleton model

Working on a 3d low-poly horse skeleton model...hopefully will get to rigging it and adding some muscle groups.

3d Rigged Skeleton with Musculature

I cleaned up my skeleton rig a little and also started working with some muscle groups for a couple poses.

...added a few more muscle groups...also had to adjust the alignment of the trochanters a little

Low-poly 3d human skeleton model

A low-poly skeleton model I'm working on for making anatomy notes.  I'll probably be rigging and either posing or maybe animating it.     I'll also probably be adding some muscle groups to it as well - depending on the purpose of the note.

Update: Added simple rig with some basic controls.  Eventually I'd like to animate some movements of muscle groups.

An early WorldMachine 3d landscape

Since I need to make some landscape for my gas station, I've been building some different natural landscapes.  Took a short while to do some custom textures in Substance.

Building 3d landscapes and plants!

A bit of a side excursion into building plant life and making landscapes.  Making the trees and mountainous terrain and then getting to try out different lighting setups is a fun part of the process.

more 3d gas station progress

Finally got to texturing the surrounding street and will be starting on building some plants and trees for the environment.

3d model gas station progress

I'm almost at the point of starting to think about adding trees and the rest of the landscape but it'll probably take a few more adjustments to some of the textures before I get there.  Included a couple process screenshots of node texturing with extra details added in Substance Painter.

3D gas station model update

Here's an early render of part of my gas station 3d model set
